Lauren has been teaching my son Oliver for 8 years (tutoring and home education).

​From a boy who really disliked learning and the thought of learning, Oliver has come along way! Oliver had self doubt within himself but with the love, care and soft nurturing approach from Lauren he responded so well. When we arrive at each session I can see that he feels comfortable and that he’s at home. He has told me that he feels safe and taken care of when he is with Lauren.

I would like to say a big thank you to Lauren at BLT for helping our son transition from formal schooling to distance education to successfully complete his grade 10 certificate. As a working mum, I was hesitant about transitioning to distance education, however my son engaged so well with Lauren and teaching style and was eager to attend Zoom sessions with her twice a week, which set him up for success. He had a much more positive approach and with Lauren's guidance, was able to follow the lesson structure and understand the expectations and the work needing to be completed.  With Lauren's unwavering support to help guide us through this journey, my son now has his certificate and entered his apprenticeship not long after. Taighmon has only done a few sessions of private tutoring, but I can already see the love of learning coming back. Taigh also participated in a Narrative Writing Workshop today and he absolutely had a blast. He can't stop talking about it and already thinking of new ideas for some stories etc... with what he has learnt today. It's like a bulb has gone off and he now knows how story writing works definitely recommend if Brighter Learning Tuition with Lauren and Bri if you have a child needing a bit more learning or even just join in for the workshops - can't wait to see Taighmon progress more as he goes
